AquaKindly Summer Swimming Camp 2026 is being set up at Park House Spa facility at 57 Honey End Lane, Reading, RG30 4EL located opposite Prospect Park. The site includes indoor warm water (33-34c) swimming pool, changing facilities, 3 toilets, 3 showers, 2 verandas, kitchenette, water and soft play toys and a movie screen. DATES, TIME and AGE RANGE

The Swimming Camp will be run from 8 am to 2 pm weekdays during summer school holidays 2026 for children aged 5 to 10 on an inclusive basis providing SEND children can attend a group swimming lesson or a 1to1 lesson is arranged and those who require 1to1 supervision come with their own care giver or arrange a teaching assistant with us additionally.

  • Daily 30 minute swimming lesson in a group of 6 maximum. Please provide towel and swimwear;
  • Splash / water games session;
  • A movie, lecture or drawing class with sea/swimming theme;
  • Land exercises to improve swimming techniques;
  • Lunch break. Please provide a lunch box with lunch and advise of any allergy or intolerance. AKS can offer fruits, drinks or biscuits based on parental advice.

Please note the order of activities may vary. If you plan to attend only part of the day including the lesson, please check the lessons schedule for each day at booking.

  • 1to1 lesson can be added or used instead of the group lesson, subject to additional fee charged;
  • A trained SEND teaching assistant can be offered, subject to availability and additional fee charged;
  • Later pick-up can be made available subject to staff availability and additional fee charged;
  • An aquatic physiotherapy session can be arranged instead of or in addition to swim lessons, during the camp hours subject to availability and additional fee paid;
  • Crash course daily lessons can be attended without the full Camp program being followed. Please book via the lessons page.

All AKS staff holds valid Enhanced DBS checks and aquatic qualifications – Level 2 swimming instructors, lifeguards, Aquatic physiotherapy assistants. Drawing and painting class, sea themed video (e.g. BBC documentary) are given by experienced in these areas staff.

Price for the Standard Program is £50 per day.
